How I do:

Do not turn on the lights when replacing the headlight with a new h13 light bulb led. Release the cover latch and open the chest.

Find the bulb that needs to be replaced and disconnect the wire harness that goes to the three-pointed bulb by simply pulling for free. This result may require a degree of tenacity.

Remove the black rubber gasket that covers the back of the headlight outlet. This step simply looks out and marked “top” to facilitate replacement alignment.

Look for the spring that holds the headlight bulb in place. One side trimmed to a retainer, and the other side articulated. Press on the trimmed side and lift gently to release the retainer clip.

Remove the old bulb and insert the new one in the same position. Be careful not to touch the glass bulb of the new headlight. LED headlights can be compromised or completely damaged by oils and alkaline in our skin.

Change the spring. This step will be the hardest part of all the work, but perseverance will pay off.

Replace the black rubber gasket, making sure to align the top correctly.

Plug the harness into the bulb and turn on the lights to make sure it works properly. Close the hood.

Installing a set of upgraded light bulbs is one of the most cost-efficient ways to update the headlight system. Halogen bulbs are extremely cheap but waste much energy. The modern LED bulbs are a little expensive than halogen, they are brighter, more effective than a halogen bulb.
